Pegia - Sea Caves, Paphos

The ‘Sea Caves’ is located along the coastline of the Peyia area of Paphos, this specific area where the rock formations can be found is often described as being a place of unique and excellent beauty.

These rocky formations were formed over thousands of yours of constant wave action which has gradually worn way at the rocks.

Earlier on, the caves were used as a safe refuge for seals, unfortunately they no longer gather here but one of the caves has been named ‘Spilios tis Fokenas’ after the seals that used to live there.
